Professional registered agent Service

Missouri Prints Its Prices on the Form. Inc Authority Prints None.

Missouri registered agent representation, billed at $99 per year. Includes the office address on your filings, same-day scanning of legal mail, and reminders for state deadlines.

Take this as advocacy, because it is. MO Registered Agent.org sells Missouri registered agent service and would rather your $99 came here. On a page whose whole subject is a price nobody publishes, though, there is one rule we hold to without exception: we do not fill the blank in for them. Where Inc Authority has said nothing, this page says nothing on their behalf.

A Free Year Is a Free Year

Order formation through Inc Authority and the first twelve months of agent coverage ride along at no charge. We went looking for the catches these offers usually hide, a signup charge, a clipped term, an early-exit penalty, and none of those conditions is stated anywhere we could see. That is a real benefit for a business in its first year, when every outgoing dollar is felt, and it belongs here at the top rather than buried under the objection that follows.

The Second Year Has No Figure Attached

Inc Authority does not publish a renewal rate. In July 2026 we went looking in the three obvious places: the front page, the package comparisons, and the section of common questions. A renewal price appears in none of them. In this category that pattern almost always resolves the same way, with the number arriving at the checkout screen or from somebody on a phone call.

Writing a plausible amount here would be simple and would wreck the point of the page, so the space stays empty. The objection survives without one. Missouri will require an agent for every year the entity remains on file, and you are being asked to accept the price of that without seeing it.

Compare That to How Missouri Behaves

Missouri publishes everything, in advance, in public, in ordinary numbers. Articles of organization under RSMo 347.037 can be filed by any person, member or not, and the price for doing so is printed where anyone can find it: $50 through the Secretary of State's business portal, or $105 on paper, with the paper form carrying the amount right on its face. Changing your registered agent later is ten dollars. An LLC owes nothing annually. Every one of those figures sits in a published fee schedule you can read before you commit to anything at all.

That is the standard this state sets for itself. A vendor selling into Missouri can meet it or decline to. Inc Authority has declined for the number that matters most, which is the one you will pay every year after the free one ends.

No Free Fallback Exists Here, So the Quote Will Have to Be Answered

Worth knowing before the renewal conversation happens. Some states let a company name itself, or an officer, as its own registered agent, which gives an owner a costless way to say no to a price they do not like. Missouri closes that door. The state limits the role to a resident individual whose own business office is the registered office, or to a corporation authorized to operate here, and the change form spells out that a business is not permitted to hold the role for itself. Whatever renewal figure eventually appears, your options are another provider or a qualifying individual. Doing nothing is not one of them, since letting the appointment lapse is grounds for administrative dissolution.

What We Charge, Before You Buy Rather Than After

Ninety-nine dollars a year, and ninety-nine dollars a year after that. You did not have to reach anybody by phone to learn the second number. It covers a compliant Missouri street address on the registered office line of your filings, immediate scanning and emailing of anything served on us, portal access whenever you want it, and alerts if something touches your entity. One add-on exists at $15 per piece of general mail scanned, and there is no second page of extras behind it. The FAQ handles whatever this page missed.

Our own row deserves the same honesty. BetterLegal advertises $90 annually, which is below us, so we do not claim the lowest price in Missouri. We claim a published one that sits among the lowest and does not move.

Taking Inc Authority Off Your Missouri Record

It is a single ten-dollar statement, form Corp. 59, handled by Missouri's Corporations Division inside the Secretary of State's office, and your incoming agent either signs it or supplies written consent, which is precisely why the replacement gets hired before the filing rather than after. Inc Authority holds the appointment until the state updates the record, so there is no gap unless you invent one by cancelling early. The full walkthrough is here.

Any business day inside the free year is a good one for this.
